The birth plan changed entirely, from beginning to end — from home birth, to hospital induction due to preeclampsia, eventually leading to a cesarean birth. Ashley helped provide education & resources, advocated for us throughout our time at the hospital, and encouraged us every step of the way. She came to the hospital with a backup plan (and a backup backup plan) that included all of our preferences, printed and laminated. She gave me labor positions to try, pain management tools and techniques, made sure I had my labor playlist going and candles lit, and so much more. On top of being the biggest support person for my husband and I, she took some incredible pictures and videos that we will cherish forever. I am so grateful to have had Ashley on our team!
